Our Atelier
An authentic caro scarf takes many days to create and the process follows several steps.
Our artisans have a profound knowledge of the traditional techniques we use to process raw materials and produce regionally distinctive dyes, weaves, embroideries and block prints.
Each scarf is handcrafted and each step of the making requires an accurate process.
Once the goats are combed, the spinners manually remove all impurities from raw fibres before it is spun. The strong yarn will be used by the weavers on the handloom to create the scarf and it will be finally dyed with azo-free dyes.
When the scarf is ready, it will be finalised in our atelier in Delhi, with the use of traditional techniques like embroideries and hand-block printing.
